The LEGO® Drivers Parade has returned for an upgraded “2.0” version, featuring more cars, more action, and for the first time, every single Formula 1 driver in their own bespoke LEGO minicar.

All 22 current F1 drivers took to the track for a special lap ahead of the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2026 at Silverstone. The drivers got behind the wheel of fully drivable, single-seater minicars constructed from over 28,000 LEGO bricks, capable of reaching speeds of up to 25 km/h.

Building on Miami’s Success

The massive activation follows last year’s popular drivers parade at the FORMULA 1 MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2025, where 10 large-build LEGO cars inspired by the LEGO F1 Collection Speed Champions range hit the track. That initial outing resulted in a memorable lap of chaos, childlike joy, and viral laughter.

For the 2026 British Grand Prix, the stakes—and the brick counts—were raised significantly. The minicars were meticulously customized to match each F1 team’s 2026 livery, complete with authentic team emblems, colorways, and driver numbers.

“We always listen to our fans, and it was clear from the 2025 Miami Grand Prix Drivers Parade that both fans and drivers wanted more,” said Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer of the LEGO Group. “We’re back with a 2.0 version in a brand-new format, bringing even more fun and excitement to the parade.”

Engineering the LEGO F1 Fleet

Creating 22 fully drivable, race-themed LEGO minicars was no small feat. The project was brought to life by a dedicated team of 20 designers, engineers, and master builders at the LEGO Group’s Kladno factory in the Czech Republic, requiring over 6,400 combined hours of development and construction.
